On Thursday 9 May, the 6th Form College played host to a number of advisers from US and European universities and institutions who set up a mini-fair over the lunchtime for students from our Sixth Form Colleges who were curious about international applications.

On Sunday 19 May, the sports department at Dame Bradbury’s, in collaboration with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), held the first ever Family Fun Run for Dame Bradbury’s pupils and families. Held at the Carver Barracks the event raised money for Cancer Research UK and EACH (East Anglia Children’s Hospice).

On Friday 10 May, Year 4 students from across the Foundation experienced a fascinating and educational visit to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village & Country Park.
Year 6 pupils waved a fond farewell to their families on Panton Street and were spirited off to Peterborough, where they caught a train bound for Edinburgh.
On Monday 22 April, twenty one Year 10 and Year 12 students travelled to Cartagena to experience true Spanish culture and improve their language skills.

Our Spring Concert showcased the collective talents of our large ensembles, but a number of students have enjoyed considerable individual successes recently.

As part of their work on Democracy in Action, our Year 6 cohort at Dame Bradbury's had a memorable day visiting both The Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.
