On Friday 25 February Kosi Nwuba, Medical student and President of CUAFC at the University of Cambridge, came to the Senior School and gave an Inspire and Guide talk to our Year 10 and 11 students.
Kosi gave an insightful look into what it is like to study medicine at the University of Cambridge. Talking through the emphasis on theory during the first years of study to the clinical placements and providing typical daily scenarios to help our students to get a real feel of what it would be like to study Medicine at the University of Cambridge.
Kosi also talked about his passion for Football and his role as President of the CUAFC and the importance of following your interests, and ensuring that you have time to simply relax with friends and recharge.
Our students asked lots of questions on things such as the Oxbridge admissions process; what Kosi did for his EPQ; what transferable skills has he taken from his sport and music interests, and what his favourite romcom is!
We are extremely grateful to Kosi for taking the time out of his busy schedule to come and speak to our students.
