Read Jasmina's thoughts on the new Fitzwilliam Building.

After the Christmas term, we moved into our new school building: The Fitzwilliam building. This building used to be the old Sixth form building but because we got more classmates, our old Rosedale House didn’t have enough space.

Inside the building, it's really spacious and we can do so many activities. The facilities are all spotless and fresh and we are all really thankful for the people who helped make it all happen. The lunch hall food is so tasty and every day we can’t wait for the food every day!

If you prefer to choose a place to get away from the outdoors, you can go to the cosy library which overlooks the lunch hall. The music rooms are so much bigger and there are lots of practice rooms if you have a music lesson or the teacher wants us to go off in groups, allowing us to work independently.

The bathrooms are really modern and it is excellent. Of course, the staff make sure we know our way around the building and what we shall do in an emergency. However, if you are not sure then there are signs on the doors and arrows to guide you. If you prefer to choose a place to get away from the outdoors, you can go to the cosy library which overlooks the lunch hall.

During the Christmas holidays, some of the workers constructed a MUGA and it is a place where we can play in it and also do sport. They will put astro on it so there can be a grassy effect. There is also a larger bit where you can run around and enjoy the cool outdoors.

Our movement is a great success and the building provides us with more experiences to enjoy.
